Get instant crawling and discovery with IndexNow, a free protocol tool from Microsoft that webmasters can use to notify Bing and other search engines whenever new website content is created. Great for initial submissions, this tool will also notify Bing of any updates that are made to pre-existing URLs.

*Bing Webmaster Tools: If you haven’t done so already your first step will be to set up a Bing Webmaster Tools account. It’s quick and free.

WordPress | Option 1. Install IndexNow Plugin
Option 1 Instructions:
- Visit the IndexNow Plugin page at WordPress.org and Download the IndexNow plugin.
- Install the plugin in your WordPress admin.
- Activate the plugin. All done!

If you’re using a SEO plugin, such as All in One SEO, you can bypass the need for another plugin and simply add the IndexNow API code into your AIOSEO settings via your WordPress Admin.
Option 2 Instructions:
- First, visit Bing‘s IndexNow page and generate your API Key
- Copy your API Key
- In your WordPress Admin
- Go to All in One SEO » General Settings » Webmaster Tools and click on the IndexNow block.
- Next to the input field labeled “IndexNow API Key“, Paste your IndexNow API Key and then be sure to Save your update.

- Go to All in One SEO » General Settings » Webmaster Tools and click on the IndexNow block.
